The Open Studio will be opening soon. It is run by artists who facilitate the studio's operating hours. The studio is stocked through donations from the community.

Projects

Collage Club is an assembly of people who are interested in exploring art. There is no membership fees or dues - there is a loose Pay-What-You-Can policy for donation to the HCA. Come in and try out the creative prompt in our theme of the week, or do your own thing! Rotating Hosts.

Create your collage using your own supplies or use the donated supplies at Open Studio! There are picture frames, canvases, watercolor paper, cardstock, cardboard, etc. to hold your work; and a selection of donated scrapbooking papers, tissue papers, colored papers, magazines, books, maps, etc. to make it all happen. Glue, stickers, embellishments, scissors available.

If you want to Host a Collage Club meeting, just sign up on the form here. You need to come up with a theme for that day's collage or activity. If you want to branch out from collage, that is ok.

If your topic is going to cost you a startup or you just want to make a little money, you might consider charging a fee for your workshop. To host a workshop, you must be a member of the Heartland Cultural Alliance (annual fee $25). You will then have to get in touch with Ms. Carol Dutton, the Treasurer of the HCA, at dutton.hcapprm@gmail.com.
